The Galaxy S26 Series is Doing Very Well: A New Record Set in South Korea

The new Samsung Galaxy S26 series is performing exceptionally well, at least according to the data coming from the South Korean market. Samsung's 'home' market has always been a testing ground for assessing the success of the company's flagship products, and the early results are very positive.

Samsung Conquers Its Home Market

The Galaxy S26 has reached 3 million units sold in South Korea and took just 117 days to achieve this milestone (just under 4 months). This result makes the S26 the fastest Galaxy S series to hit the 3 million sales mark in the Korean market.

In comparison, the Galaxy S25 series took about 6 months to reach the same milestone.

The Secret to Success

According to analysts, this success can be attributed to a combination of various factors, such as the novelty of the Privacy Display, which is contributing to the success of the Ultra variant and will be available on all variants of the upcoming Galaxy S27, as well as the new, more advanced and comprehensive Galaxy AI features.

At the moment, there is still no data on the global performance of the Galaxy S26 series. However, the foundations for commercial success are solid, even though smartphones will soon face internal competition from the next-generation Galaxy Z, debuting in just a few days.
