The First Smartphone with Integrated Agent AI is Coming: Nubia Will Make It

The integration of artificial intelligence with smartphones is becoming increasingly profound, but there is still a missing device designed to be used almost exclusively with AI. This gap will soon be filled by Nubia, a brand known for its gaming smartphones, which has confirmed the upcoming launch of a smartphone with an AI agent integrated at the system level, capable of managing complex tasks for the user.

This is a potentially very interesting project, but for now, only a few details are available. Here are the first details revealed by the company.

The Launch is Near

Currently, there are still few details about the project, although we only need to wait a few days for the official announcement that will shed light on the new project. The date to mark on the calendar is that of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, scheduled in Shanghai, from July 17 to 20. The model may then be launched on the market in the following weeks.

A Complete Novelty? Not Quite

From the first rumors, Nubia's model may be linked to Doubao, the smartphone created by Nubia in collaboration with ByteDance. The model was presented as a "technological preview" with only 30,000 units produced (for the Chinese market) that sold out on the first day of availability.

According to Nubia, the new smartphone will be able to understand requests in natural language and autonomously complete complex actions across different apps. In theory, therefore, the agent AI should be able to perform all major operations on behalf of the user, simplifying interaction with the device.
