Tesla Now Sells a Model 3 at the Crazy Price of 25,000 Euros

For a few months, Tesla has introduced a distinction in trims between Standard and Premium versions, with the latter effectively proposing substantial differences from the more economical variants. However, the price gap is often not very apparent, prompting many customers to choose the better-equipped Model 3. This is about to change in Canada.

The North American country had previously introduced additional tariffs on Chinese cars amounting to 100%, forcing Tesla to supply the local market with cars produced only in the United States. However, the Canadian Prime Minister decided that American cars should also be taxed with tariffs of 25%. This led Tesla to practically withdraw the Model 3s that were already ready for Canada.

But now Elon Musk's company is back, buoyed by a new agreement between Ottawa and Beijing: Chinese cars now have only a 6% tariff. Therefore, Tesla has decided to ship vehicles produced in the Shanghai factory back to Canada, and on this occasion, has modified the pricing, adding a bombshell price.

The rear-wheel-drive Premium Model 3, which is the variant with the highest range and the highest level of equipment, costs only 39,490 Canadian dollars, which at the current exchange rate is not even 25,000 euros. For comparison, the same car in Italy costs 42,690 euros.

This is for a vehicle with a range of 750 km, a top speed of 201 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, 18" alloy wheels, and a standard white color with black faux leather interiors. A price that is probably the best in the West and without incentives (to which Chinese cars in Canada are not entitled), considering that even in the United States, Tesla's home, the same car costs at least 42,490 dollars (approximately 36,000 euros).
