Have you really finished Crimson Desert? The new patch forces you to start over
The latest update for Crimson Desert, identified as version 1.05.00, introduces several relevant new features, although it is more contained compared to the previous one. The two main additions are the Rematch and Re-blockade systems, which greatly enhance replayability.
The Rematch system allows players to face up to 69 previously defeated bosses again. Players can choose to fight them in their original conditions or adapted to the character's current level. The protagonists Kliff, Damiane, and Oongka can participate in these challenges, and all resources consumed during the encounter are returned at the end, although no equipment drops are expected.
The Re-blockade system makes the game world more dynamic: 13 factions can reoccupy 23 previously liberated fortresses and mines, forcing players to conquer them again. This feature is active automatically but can be adjusted to change the frequency of reconquests or completely disabled. The developers have already announced future improvements, including additional factions and territories, as well as an evolution of the liberation system.

Among the new features are also two legendary tameable animals, the Iron Eagle and the Hyacinth Macaw. Additionally, a new creature called the Mountain God Boar has been introduced, which appears only under specific conditions, though it is unclear if it can be used as a mount.
The patch includes numerous enhancements and fixes: now previously unusable gold bars produce a silver reward, a new source for obtaining the Pumpkin Head has been added, and interactions with certain pets have been expanded. Agricultural harvesting has also been made more consistent, guaranteeing at least two units of product.
Elements such as puzzles, interface, automatic missions, and crafting systems have been improved. Various technical issues have been resolved, including errors related to companions, items, and bosses. This patch represents the last update on the current roadmap; however, with over five million copies sold, support for the game will continue with new content on the way.
