Halo 2 and 3 Like You've Never Seen Them Before: Leaks Excite Fans

According to recent rumors, Halo Studios is reportedly actively working on the remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3. The information comes from content creator Rebs Gaming, who claims to have received evidence from sources considered reliable. According to these statements, both projects are said to already be in the early stages of development.

The same sources claim that the studio's goal is to rework the entire original trilogy of the saga. This would also include a new version of the first chapter, Halo: Combat Evolved, rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5. This remake, known as Halo: Campaign Evolved, has already been announced and represents a complete reimagining of the campaign from the original title.

An interesting aspect concerns the content planned for this new edition: according to rumors, it will include elements taken from later chapters, such as the Brutes, inserted within new missions that serve as narrative prequels. Additionally, it is speculated that these creatures may also appear in classic missions through an optional modifier called Skull, designed to enrich the gaming experience.

Halo Studios is working on other projects beyond the remakes of Halo 2 and 3.

Besides the remakes, the studio appears to be engaged in other projects related to the franchise. Among these would be a new multiplayer title and the next main chapter of the series, although no official details have been provided at this time.

Back in October 2024, Halo Studios confirmed that they were working on multiple games set in the Halo universe, all being developed with Unreal Engine 5. The first of these to be announced was Halo: Campaign Evolved, expected in 2026.

Microsoft has confirmed that the title will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, although a specific release date has yet to be communicated. This project represents a significant step towards the revival of the saga, aiming to modernize one of the most iconic chapters in video game history.
