The Downscaling of OnePlus in Europe May Have Already Begun

In recent weeks, there have been multiple discussions regarding a downscaling of OnePlus's activities. This possibility has been denied by the company, both through an official statement and through actions, with many new products launched in recent months.

However, these new launches do not concern Europe, where the downscaling may already be in progress. Confirmation came from a post by a company employee on LinkedIn (which was later deleted), in which layoffs and a new product strategy for the future of OnePlus in Europe were confirmed.

At the moment, OnePlus has not commented on the issue, but rumors related to the downscaling (at least in Europe) continue, and the news can no longer be ignored, especially considering that the company has not introduced new products in Europe since late 2025.

A confirmation soon?

Confirmations could arrive soon: OnePlus has just launched the new Nord 6 in India, a very interesting mid-range smartphone thanks to its balance of performance and battery life. The absence of the smartphone’s debut in Europe, even in the absence of official announcements from the company, could represent an indirect confirmation of the rumors.

Let's remember that OnePlus is also about to launch a new low-end smartphone. The lack of this model's arrival could also confirm the decision to initiate a downscaling program, with the brand potentially focusing only on the high-end market.
