HONOR 600 Pro, SoC confirmed ahead of debut: performance won't be an issue
In a couple of weeks, HONOR is set to present the new 600 series, which will enhance the brand's offering in the mid-range market. Among the new arrivals (also in Italy, where the 400 series is currently available) is the HONOR 600 Pro, which is the star of a new benchmark that has appeared online in recent hours, confirming the SoC chosen by HONOR for the smartphone.
Plenty of power for the new HONOR 600 Pro
As confirmed by the new leak, the upcoming HONOR 600 Pro will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a chip capable of delivering optimal performance in all usage scenarios, making the smartphone a suitable alternative to flagship models, thanks to a lower price and few compromises regarding performance. The smartphone, in the benchmark, also shows 12 GB of RAM and the operating system Android 16.
Regarding the rest of the technical specifications, we can refer to rumors from previous weeks that provide a complete description of the device. The new HONOR 600 Pro will boast an OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. There will also be room for a main camera of 200 Megapixels (probably supported by a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide sensor) and a substantial 9,000 mAh battery. HONOR is also expected to integrate a physical button dedicated to AI features.
The debut of the new HONOR 600 series is scheduled for April 23rd. The smartphones (600 and 600 Pro) will also arrive in Europe, alongside the already available 600 Lite.
