Google Pixel 11 Pro: renders unveil the all-glass camera module design

After the first seemingly official images of the Pixel 11, the renders dedicated to the Google Pixel 11 Pro have also leaked. This is the missing piece to complete the lineup (awaiting the XL version) that will arrive in the coming months, confirming a significant aesthetic transformation for the entire family focused on the rear hardware.

The analysis of the CAD files allows us to precisely define what the aesthetics of the new model will be. The distinctive feature of its predecessors, the horizontal bar with metallic and colored inserts, makes way for a redesigned camera island. While retaining the characteristic oval shape, the entire module is now protected by a continuous dark glass surface that eliminates any chromatic break between the lenses and the surrounding structure.

The new face of the Google Pixel 11 Pro: farewell to the two-tone bar. According to what is known so far, the Pixel 11 Pro will measure 152.7 x 71.8 x 8.4 mm, thus having minimal variations compared to the current model in the range. On the front, Google seems intent on confirming the already appreciated 6.3-inch OLED panel from the previous generation. The leaked images show an optimization of the bezels which, while satisfactory, suggests a slightly thicker border than some direct competitors in the flagship segment. Despite this detail, the general symmetry of the front remains a hallmark of Mountain View's design, ensuring a visual experience consistent with the brand's identity.

However, the most relevant innovations are hidden under the hood, where the beating heart of the device will be the new Google Tensor G6 SoC. The emerged specifications indicate a decidedly atypical CPU configuration, based on a 7-core structure, with a deep customization of the silicon typical of Big G which is likely to focus on thermal efficiency and optimization of processes related to artificial intelligence, rather than pure raw power in multithreading.

The Tensor G6 SoC will be paired with a modem supplied by MediaTek, a significant technical transition for the Pixel series (previously Samsung components were used) that could directly impact the reception and energy efficiency of the radio component. With the integration of these components, the Pixel 11 Pro is configured as a technical evolution that aims to address some of the historical issues of the range, in search of greater integration between proprietary hardware and selected third-party components.
