Forget about downsizing: OnePlus is set to launch a new smartphone with a 3nm chip and a huge battery

The OnePlus brand is at the center of various rumors regarding a possible downsizing (denied by the company itself). In the meantime, however, the brand's smartphone lineup continues to be updated.

While waiting for the new Nord models, set to arrive in the coming weeks in India and then on the European market in the near future, another model is about to debut in China.

This is the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, a smartphone intended to occupy the high-end market with a mix of specifications capable of ensuring high performance and top battery life.

A flagship killer?

According to initial rumors, the new OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, manufactured using a 3nm process, and a battery of 8,500 mAh, supporting 100W fast charging.

Completing the technical specifications will be a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, along with high-end RAM and storage options. Currently, there is no information regarding the camera technology, which may have some compromises compared to the flagship OnePlus 15. The Ace 6 Ultra will join two other models, Ace 6 and Ace 6T, which were revealed in recent months in China.

This project could carve out a space in the global market as part of an attempt to relaunch the brand, which seems determined to further update its lineup to counter the rumors related to downsizing.
