The open beta will take place from August 28 to September 1, 2026, while users who have pre-ordered will have access to the early phase from August 21 to 25. This period will allow fans to test some of the main multiplayer features before the official release of the game.
To accompany the beta's arrival, Activision has scheduled a special streaming event of the Call of Duty: Next series, set for August 21, coinciding with the start of early access. During this event, further information on competitive modes and the features of the new episode will likely be presented.

The test will also allow players to try modes already known to fans of the series, such as 'Search and Destroy', along with new proposals like 'Kill Block' and the 'Mobility Training Course'. Players will also be able to become familiar with the new movement system, updated ballistics, and options dedicated to character progression and customization.
