The IO App Will Become Richer: ISEE, Educational Credentials, and More Coming Soon

The IO App is set to become increasingly rich, allowing users to access various additional documents beyond what is currently available. It is a program of continuous growth aimed at making the IO App a definitive reference for Italian citizens. In the meantime, the app is experiencing some issues with driving licenses, particularly with surnames that include diaeresis and special characters.

Upcoming Features

Among the new features coming to the application is the ability to obtain the ISEE, with data provided directly by the INPS (National Social Security Institute), as well as retrieving educational credentials and school enrollment, along with academic titles and university enrollments.

Additionally, it will be possible to obtain information related to residency, the enjoyment of political rights, registration on electoral lists, and age thresholds, thanks to data made available by the National Resident Population Registry (ANPR) and the Ministry of the Interior.

These new documents will be added to those already available in the app's wallet, such as the digital driving license, the health card (including the TEAM), and the European Disability Card.

Regarding the driving license, the document can also be used as an identification document throughout Italy, replacing the physical document. As for authentication to access documents, it is recommended to use the CieID app (associated with the Electronic Identity Card), although access remains granted via SPID as well.

At this moment, there is still no official date for the release of these new features. However, it is a matter of just a few weeks. In the near future, the IO App will be richer and more complete.
