OPPO Chooses Clara for the Launch of the Reno16 Series: Between AI, New Design, and the Bubble Accessory

OPPO

plays a significant card for the Italian launch of its new range of mid-high-end devices, officially announcing singer Clara as the ambassador for the launch of the Reno16 series, one of the most prominent artists in the current Italian music scene and a true icon for Generation Z.

The collaboration between the well-known tech brand and the singer takes shape in the campaign named #FDS, an acronym for "Fuori dallo Scroll" ("Out of the Scroll"). The idea behind this marketing initiative, which perfectly aligns with the target audience of the new devices, is to invite users to experience and capture authentic moments that occur away from the compulsive and repetitive dynamics of social feeds.

In short, real life, filled with behind-the-scenes, spontaneous laughter, concerts, and changes of plans, which the Reno16 Series promises to capture with unprecedented ease and immediacy.

The hero video of the campaign showcases this transition: from a glossy and "music video ready" dimension to a reality filled with rehearsals, friendships, and genuineness narrated through the new smartphone's lenses.

Now let's discuss the technological substance, which represents the heart of OPPO's offering and the aspect that most interests enthusiasts and professionals. The Reno16 family (which includes models Reno16 Pro, Reno16, and Reno16 FS) introduces what it defines as a deeply renewed photographic and creative ecosystem in this generation. In these innovative "AI Phones", the historic dichotomy between traditional technical components and artificial intelligence practically disappears: the two elements work in total and continuous synergy, extensively supported by the operating system ColorOS 16, with the clear aim of amplifying and simplifying users' infinite possibilities for personal storytelling.

From the perspective of the casing and overall image, the new design approach called "3D Pop Planet" stands out, meticulously developed by engineers to provide a strongly distinctive aesthetic identity in line with current trends. However, the real leap forward is on the software front.

The creative experience is enhanced by features designed specifically for a purely social-first generation. Among these, we find "AI Remix Collage", a powerful tool that allows you to mix photos and videos to create dynamic compositions enriched with animations and layers, radically evolving the classic and static concept of collage. There is also "Pop Cam", a feature that applies real-time filters, styles, and atmospheres inspired by both analog and digital photography, instantly delivering post-produced shots ready for sharing. Also intriguing is the algorithm behind "Popout 2.0", which literally "pulls" subjects out of the frame to generate a captivating three-dimensional effect that immediately captures attention, making the content immersive.

On the pure hardware front, an advanced optical configuration stands out, boasting among other things a 3.5x telephoto lens specifically optimized for capturing perfect and detail-rich portraits, a true trademark and stronghold of the Reno series. This sensor is expertly paired with a generous 50-megapixel ultra-wide front camera, an essential element designed specifically to ensure impeccable group selfies, wide viewing angles, and flexibility in creating vlogs from any perspective.

In conjunction with the launch of the smartphones, OPPO has also unveiled a decidedly innovative and peculiar accessory, the OPPO Bubble. It is a true magnetic "companion" of compact size, equipped with a dedicated interactive AMOLED display. Attached to the back of the smartphone, it serves as a practical secondary screen to view the rear camera preview in real-time, take photos remotely, and even personalize the device with fun animations, images, and scrolling texts.

Clara's selection, accompanied by the catchy soundtrack "Le ragazze" (performed in duet with Sangiovanni), completes a precise communicative strategy. As noted by Amanda Wei, Europe Chief Marketing Officer of OPPO, the main objective is to provide users with advanced and accessible tools to shape their creativity.

While the renowned K-pop group BABYMONSTER represents the series on a global level, Italy finds in Clara its perfect "Reno Girl": a solid bridge between advanced technology, contemporary music, and a young generation eager to be an active, dynamic, and creative protagonist of their digital narrative.
