Motorola Confirms Arrival of New Edge 70 Max: A Possible Flagship Killer?

The Motorola range is about to welcome a new model. Next week, the brand will unveil the Motorola Edge 70 Max, a smartphone that will position itself in the high segment of the market.

For now, the debut is confirmed only in India, but we cannot exclude the arrival in Europe as well. It is worth noting that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is available in the European market, a model that occupies a market segment very similar to that of the Edge 70 Max. Here are the details about the new product.

What Will the New Motorola Smartphone Be Like?

The new Motorola Edge 70 Max, as hinted by the first official teasers, will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 5 SoC, a chip capable of delivering excellent performance in all usage contexts.

Among the specifications, the presence of a 6.82-inch OLED display and a 7,100 mAh battery is confirmed. The design will follow the "usual" style of the Edge line, although the rear photographic sensors will be only two, despite the presence of four circular elements.

Completing the technical specifications will be various combinations of RAM and storage, the Android 16 operating system, and likely the IP68/IP69 waterproof certification along with Dual SIM support.

The date to circle on the calendar for the launch of the new Motorola Edge 70 Max is July 15. As mentioned at the start, the presentation will take place in India, but the smartphone may also reach other markets, expanding the Edge line and strengthening Motorola's offerings.
