Privacy Display for All Galaxy S: Samsung Has Clear Ideas About the Future of Its Flagship Devices

The Privacy Display is one of the main innovations introduced by the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Korean company is working on an evolution of this feature, which can be activated by the user to create an effect similar to that of a privacy film, when necessary. In the future, Samsung intends to make the Privacy Display a central element of the Galaxy S series, contributing to increase the value of all variants in the range and not just the Ultra version, which will remain the flagship of the Korean house.

Will all Galaxy S27 models have the Privacy Display? According to a report from The Elec, the entire Galaxy S27 range could feature the Privacy Display, thus eliminating the exclusivity of the Ultra series. This choice could make the feature much more popular and could also ensure an optimization of the production processes, especially considering that all variants of the series will have Samsung Display panels, following the failure of negotiations with BOE.

The Privacy Display is expected to present innovations compared to the current version, with Samsung continuing to develop the technology to make it increasingly effective without compromising the quality of the images displayed on the panel.

It’s worth noting that for the next generation of flagship devices, Samsung plans to launch four models, confirming the two "base" variants: the compact Galaxy S27 and the Galaxy S27+ (both of which may come to Europe with an Exynos chip). There will, of course, be the flagship Galaxy S27 Ultra, which will be joined by the new Galaxy S27 Pro, described as an Ultra with compact dimensions.
