iPhone 18 Pro Max: More Battery Life Compared to 17 Pro Max Thanks to a Larger Battery?

The new iPhone 18 Pro Max could feature a novelty that has, until now, gone unnoticed but could become one of the strengths of Apple's smartphone, set to be released in September. The Cupertino company may install a record-capacity battery under the hood of its flagship device. The 18 Pro Max is expected to offer significantly better battery life than the current 17 Pro Max.

The New Battery of iPhone 18 Pro Max

According to rumors, the new iPhone 18 Pro Max should integrate a 5,425 mAh battery, which will be reduced to 5,235 mAh for the version with a dedicated physical SIM slot (the variant of the smartphone expected to arrive in Italy). This represents a substantial leap forward compared to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which stops at 5,088 mAh for the eSIM-only version and 4,832 mAh for the model with a dedicated physical SIM slot. The battery capacity of the 18 Pro Max with the SIM slot will increase by over 8%.

Additional factors, such as the 2 nm chip, could ensure a reduction in power consumption, contributing to improved battery life. In any case, Apple's smartphone should represent a significant upgrade over the current 17 Pro Max.

It’s worth noting that the new iPhone 18 Pro models will feature an important upgrade for the camera sector and should present several new elements regarding technical specifications and design. The launch for the new models is scheduled for next month in September with the official presentation.
