iPhone 18 Pro, a new color confirmed: farewell to orange
The future iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max continue to be at the center of rumors, with the official debut now just a little over two months away. The latest news concerns the available colors and confirms the retirement of the orange, which became an iconic color in previous months, and the arrival of a new, unique color.
This is a very important marketing choice with Apple continuing to strongly focus on the chromatic aspect to promote its new smartphones.
Dark Cherry Confirmed
This year, Apple will also try to compensate for the lack of particularly revolutionary innovations for its Pro smartphones with a new, unique color, which is destined to be at the center of marketing over the coming autumn.
The chosen color, as confirmed by a new leak from insider Ice Universe, will be Dark Cherry, a variant of dark red, with a hue similar to cherry, which will follow the trend of 'special' colors introduced by orange last September. This color has been at the center of rumors and speculations for some time.
The iPhone 18 Pro could come in only three colors with no Black option:
- Dark Cherry
- Light Blue
- Silver

Among the latest information, the presence of color variants Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver is also confirmed. It is worth noting that there should not be a black color, excluded from the available color options for the future iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Apple will focus on more eye-catching colors for its smartphones.
A diametrically opposite choice will be made for iPhone Ultra, which is expected to debut with more discreet color tones, including a more traditional white version. Official confirmations will arrive, as per tradition, in September.
