The new Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8 have an (unofficial) launch date
The new Galaxy Z devices will arrive this summer. Once again, Samsung will refresh its lineup with several new features. In particular, it is scheduled to launch two Fold models, the new wide display model, which will be called Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the premium model, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, the successor to last year's Fold 7 (here is the review from Hardware Upgrade). Also on the way is the Galaxy Z Flip 8 (there should not be a new FE version). In recent hours, an e-commerce site in Lithuania has hinted at the possible launch date in Europe for the new Galaxy Z, representing a new confirmation regarding the imminent arrival of the new Korean foldables.
Appointment in August 2026
The Galaxy Unpacked event that will lead to the debut of the new Galaxy Z is scheduled for the end of July. Some rumors have anticipated the date of July 22, but there is no official confirmation yet (which will arrive in the coming days).
In the meantime, according to the retailer PriceBee, the launch date (for the European market) would be set for August 5, with the smartphones arriving on the market after a traditional pre-order period that will likely be accompanied by various discounts. The timing may change slightly, but the launch period is essentially set. We will have to wait about a month for the presentation and subsequent launch of the new Galaxy Z, which will compete with the new iPhone Ultra, coming in September.
