ASUS ROG Courser and Courser Core: Next-Generation Comfort Lies in the Recline

ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the availability of the new ROG Courser and ROG Courser Core, two gaming chairs designed to provide a high level of comfort during gaming and work sessions. Both models share an ergonomically oriented platform and introduce the new ROG Dynamic Synchronized Recline system, developed to maintain consistent support for the back and neck throughout the entire recline angle.

One of the distinguishing elements of the new seats is the synchronized recline system, which allows for adjustment between 90° and 155°, divided into 20 positions. Unlike traditional gaming chairs, ASUS claims that the head position only lowers by 3 centimeters during recline, compared to the typical 15-16 centimeters of conventional solutions. This feature maintains the contact between the back, neck, and backrest intact, reduces the risk of improper postures, and offers continuous support even in more inclined positions.

The ROG Courser and ROG Courser Core also integrate a 4D adjustable lumbar support, allowing users to modify depth and height to fit the spine's shape. The cushioning made from cold-pressed TPU also promotes better air circulation and helps support the lumbar area during prolonged use.

The removable magnetic headrest can be easily adjusted in height to improve head and neck support. The seat, which is 55 centimeters wide, aims to ensure comfort for users of different body types. ASUS completes the structure with a high-quality faux leather covering designed for greater durability over time and a refined appearance.

The new chairs also introduce fully adjustable 4D armrests, with the possibility to adjust height, width, depth, and rotation up to 360°. ASUS has also included a mode dedicated to gaming on portable devices, allowing armrests to be raised up to 11 centimeters for a more natural position during the use of handheld consoles or other mobile devices. Moreover, the supports remain aligned even when the backrest is fully reclined.

The ROG Courser model stands out from the Core version due to the presence of integrated RGB lighting. The light strips offer 6 lighting modes and 8 colors, along with a rainbow effect. They are also positioned under a layer of translucent leather, making them discreet and perfectly integrated into the chair's design even when off. Power is supplied via a power bank, which can be inserted into a designated compartment located at the back of the backrest.

The new ASUS ROG gaming chairs are already available at a price of €799 for the ROG Courser and €699 for the ROG Courser Core, the non-illuminated variant.
