Kodak Charmera Millennium Edition: the keychain camera returns, this time inspired by the 2000s

Reto has started sales of the Kodak Charmera Millennium Edition, the second iteration of the blind box keychain camera launched in 2025. The new version is available from June 16 at a price of 35 dollars for a single unit and 210 dollars for a set of six, with shipments expected by mid-July 2026.

The Charmera project draws from the concept of the Kodak Fling from 1987, the analog keychain disposable camera, reinterpreted in digital form by Reto under license from the Kodak brand. The 2025 version exceeded sales expectations, quickly selling out. The Millennium Edition fully inherits its hardware: 1/4" CMOS Type sensor, 35mm f/2.4 lens, 1.6 megapixel resolution (1440x1080 pixels), AVI video up to 30 fps, USB-C charging and microSD support from 1GB to 128GB, not included. The keychain and USB-C cable are included in the package.

The novelty lies in the casing and software. The body features a metallic finish and the interface has been completely redesigned to evoke the early years of the internet: vintage CRT tube effects, pixelated digital filters, 4 custom 2000s frames and 7 photography filters including black and white, cool, warm and four pixel filter variants in coral, honey, teal, and violet tones.

Blind box, secret edition, and purchasing conditions

The collection distributes 7 designs in blind boxes: six standard variants plus one secret edition with a mirror silver finish. The probability of drawing it is 1 in 48 for each individual box; in the complete set of six, the secret edition is not guaranteed, and its presence replaces one of the base designs.

Purchases are limited to two individual boxes and one complete set per order. Cancellations and modifications are not allowed after confirmation. Complete conditions, including details on variants and draw probabilities, are available on the Reto product page.
