AOC E4: Ergonomic Monitors for SMEs with 120 Hz Refresh Rate and 5-Year Warranty

AOC has announced an expansion of its offering dedicated to small and medium enterprises with the new E4 series of professional monitors, designed to meet the needs of hybrid work environments and modern office setups. The new family of displays focuses on three main aspects: ergonomics, long-term reliability, and simplification of workstations.

One of the distinguishing elements of the E4 series is the presence of the TCO Certified generation 10 certification, accompanied by a five-year manufacturer's warranty. AOC also emphasizes its commitment to sustainability, with chassis made of at least 85% post-consumer recycled plastic and EPEAT Gold and Climate+ certifications.

On a technical level, some models from the range, including the 24E4CV, Q27E4CV, and CU34E4CW, integrate a docking station directly into the monitor. The features include a USB-C connection with Power Delivery up to 90 W, allowing data transfer, video signal transmission, and powering a notebook through a single cable.

Models with integrated docking also include a 1 Gbit/s Ethernet RJ45 port, enabling access to a wired network connection directly through the display, without the need for additional adapters or external supports. The E4 series also aims at productivity in multi-device scenarios. The 34-inch ultrawide monitors, CU34E4CW and CU34E4CV, are equipped with an integrated Smart KVM switch, a feature that allows the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse to be used with multiple devices, switching from one system to another with the simple press of a button.

AOC has chosen a 120 Hz refresh rate for the entire range, a feature that contributes to improving image smoothness and reducing eye strain during extended work sessions. Special attention has also been given to multi-monitor configurations. The Q27E4CV and Q27E4U models support Daisy Chain technology via DisplayPort MST, allowing two displays to be connected in a chain without increasing the number of cables on the desk. This function is complemented by Daisy Chain Sync, a technology that automatically synchronizes brightness and color temperature between connected monitors, replicating any changes made on the primary display to the secondary one.

For recommended setups, AOC suggests pairing the Q27E4CV with the Q27E4U for QHD workstations and the combination of 24E4CV and 24E4U for Full HD workstations. The new series also dedicates substantial attention to user well-being. The E4 monitors feature TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification and Hardware Low Blue Light technology, which reduces blue light emissions directly at the panel level without altering color accuracy.

Finally, regarding ergonomics, the integrated stands offer a height adjustment of 150 mm on the 24 and 27-inch models and 180 mm on the 34-inch ultrawide variants, in addition to tilt and rotation adjustments. The 24 and 27-inch models also include the pivot function, designed to adapt the monitor to different operational needs and promote a more correct posture during daily use.
