Samsung announces the Galaxy Book6 Edge with Snapdragon X2 Elite: the memory crisis affects the price

The Galaxy Book range is enriched with a new model. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge debuts, a laptop equipped with Snapdragon X2 Elite, which will be available (at least for now) in the only configuration with a 16-inch panel. The laptop was announced in the United States but should soon arrive in Europe, alongside other variants of the Galaxy Book 6 series.

Features of the new Samsung laptop

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge features a 16-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, touch support, and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E 88-100 processor, supported by 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Currently, no other variants are expected.

The notebook has a 61.8 Wh battery, supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and includes an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 3.2 port, and two USB 4.0 ports along with a microSD card slot and a 3.5 mm jack. The keyboard is backlit and there is also a fingerprint reader. The notebook weighs only 1.55 kilograms, making it one of the lightest 16-inch laptops on the market. The color offered is Gray Blue.

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge is available in the United States, where it is priced at $2,099.99. Further details regarding a possible European debut should emerge shortly. For our market, we cannot exclude the arrival of other variants.
