HONOR exaggerates: the next mid-range will have an 11,000 mAh battery
HONOR is building a range of battery phones, featuring various silicon-carbon battery models with very high capacities. The latest innovation on the way could be represented by HONOR X80 Pro Max, a model intended for the Chinese market, at least for now. The smartphone could have a record-breaking battery.
Also, the company's upcoming flagship is set to register an increase in battery capacity.
A Super Battery
The new HONOR X80 Pro Max is expected to feature an 11,000 mAh battery, with the possibility of utilizing 90 W fast charging. This is a decidedly off-the-charts value, surpassing what is offered by other models presented by HONOR itself, which stop at 10,000 mAh.
The smartphone will be a mid-range device and will rely on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, with a Full HD+ resolution, at least according to early rumors that clarify the positioning and features of the device.
The HONOR Pro Max will arrive alongside a lower-end model, which should be called X80. This smartphone will be limited to 10,000 mAh, retaining the other specifications from the Pro Max.
For now, there are no confirmations regarding a potential release of the new record battery smartphone in Europe. In any case, HONOR has embarked on a clear path and will continue to enrich its offerings with smartphones featuring high-capacity batteries. We will see what the next moves for the European market will be.
