Minecraft Dungeons 2: Microsoft Announces Release Date for the Accessible Action RPG

During the Xbox Game Showcase, Microsoft announced the release date for Minecraft Dungeons II, the new installment of the action RPG series inspired by the Minecraft universe. The title will be available starting September 29, 2026 and will reach a wide range of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Essentially, Minecraft Dungeons II aims to catapult players into unprecedented settings and against completely new enemies. However, it is not expected to change the narrative structure, which is a key element of the experience.

The game remains focused on dungeon exploration, combat, and collecting increasingly powerful gear.
