Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro: Will it be the true best seller? Compact, 'Elite' chip, and the Ultra's battery

The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro could become the new best seller of the Samsung lineup. It is the fourth variant of the S27 series which will debut in the coming months of next year. Recently, new information about the technical specifications has anticipated some elements of the model.

The latest on S27 Pro

As already emerged in previous days, the new Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, making it significantly more compact than the S27 Ultra, which will continue to feature a panel of about 6.9 inches.

The most interesting innovation of the model will be the battery. Samsung is expected to include a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. This is the same capacity as the battery installed in the current flagship S26 Ultra (the S27 Ultra will probably have a slightly larger battery).

The Galaxy S27 Pro will also feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC, along with the same camera setup as the S27 Ultra (with minor differences for the telephoto lens). The smartphone will run on Android 17 with 7 major updates guaranteed.

The conditions are all in place for a smartphone capable of carving out a leading role in the market. For all the details about the project, we will have to wait for the presentation, expected at the beginning of next year.
