Polaroid Go Generation 3 is the new instant analog camera for summer

After launching the Hi-Print 3x3 printer in recent months and about a year ago the Now and Now+ Generation 3 cameras, the company has decided to renew its compact solution aimed at young people. The Polaroid Go Generation 3 thus succeeds the second generation (announced in 2024) with a pocket-sized instant analog camera ready to be taken on vacation this summer.

The Polaroid Go Generation 3 is designed for those looking for an authentic photographic experience who want to distinguish themselves from photos captured with smartphones, without the complications of more advanced or expensive digital cameras. It also allows you to print the captured images to hang on a wall or stick them in a diary.

With a new season of phone-free concerts and venues focusing on "disconnection from digital life", these solutions can become a new way to experience moments, with their own limitations but also some advantages. The Polaroid Go Generation 3 produces a physical print within seconds, creating memories that are not stored in a cloud, but exist concretely in the real world.

Among the new features of this generation is a new optical system, optimized for close-up selfies, a more powerful flash designed to ensure good performance even in difficult lighting conditions, and a double exposure mode that allows you to overlay two shots on the same frame. There is also support for Polaroid Go photo paper with the unmistakable white frame, giving it that iconic look, a front mirror for self-framing without help, and a timer for group photos.

Stine Bauer Dahlberg (Chief Product Officer of Polaroid) stated, "With the Polaroid Go Generation 3, we wanted to design the world's smallest instant camera without compromising on photographic quality. We focused on perfecting the optical system, integrating a truly powerful flash, and optimizing the camera for high-quality close-up selfies. Every design choice stems from how people actually use such a compact camera, ensuring excellent performance in various lighting conditions. All this engineering work takes shape in a renewed design and a personality that preserves all the spontaneity and joy expected from Polaroid."

The new Polaroid Go Generation 3 is available in four colors: black, purple, aqua green, and white. The dimensions are 106.5 x 83.8 x 64.6 mm, with a weight of 251.9 grams. The price is €89.99 on the website of the Italian distributor Nital, while it will be available at various retailers starting June 16.
