Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8: New Confirmations on Price, Size, and Specifications
In a few weeks, Samsung is set to debut the new Galaxy Z series. The new lineup will also include the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which will be the name for the Wide model, a completely new addition to the series, while the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Regarding the Z Fold 8, a new leak reveals some details about the project and, in particular, its weight and dimensions. The foldable will be lighter than the current flagship models from the South Korean company. Here are the complete details.
Latest on the Upcoming Fold
The new Galaxy Z Fold 8 will weigh just 201 grams, as revealed by a recent leak. This smartphone will therefore be significantly lighter than the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which weighs 218 grams, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 from last year, which weighs 215 grams.
It is worth noting that the thickness will be just 4.5 mm when opened. The smartphone is expected to feature a 4,800 mAh battery, with support for 45 W fast charging, as well as an internal display measuring 7.6 inches with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
More details about the new Folds will arrive in the coming weeks. Samsung is expected to present the smartphones during the next month of July, with a Unpacked event that will also introduce other products, such as the new generation Galaxy Watches.
It’s important to note that the series is expected to debut shortly thereafter, meaning that the launch in Italy could occur between late July and early August.
