Fiat Returns Big: Here Is the First Image of Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback
The media event that revealed the Grande Panda also told us about a Fiat ready to launch an entire range with a similar stylistic language, aiming to move beyond being overly associated with just the 500.
Today we discover the first image of two new models, although in reality, they are slightly different versions of the same vehicle. It is Fiat itself that has published the first photo of Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, two SUVs marking Fiat's return to the C segment.
The design is boxy and reminiscent of the Grande Panda, featuring a new light signature that becomes characteristic of the range. With a length of just under 4.5 meters, they are not overly large vehicles but are aimed primarily at families.
Fiat explains that the platform comes from the Stellantis group, almost certainly the STLA Smart, with the Fastback version designed for those more attentive to lifestyle and who may need to carry slightly longer loads.
Attention to interiors, details, and technology is evident to align Fiat with other brands in the Group, distancing it from the aura of being merely a popular car, yet with quality not on par with French, American, or German counterparts.
At the end of the statement, we also discover a dedicated logo featuring a stylized bear's head - with an eye that is a heart - and the target markets. Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback are set to launch in the second half of 2026 in Europe, and in the Middle East & Africa region. The strategy for the engine offerings, which is not detailed yet, remains in line with what has been seen so far, utilizing a multi-energy platform to propose all solutions from gasoline to pure electric.
