ROG Edition 20: ASUS Celebrates the Twentieth Anniversary of ROG with a Luxurious Limited Edition Range

The Computex stage has been an excellent showcase for ASUS, particularly for the ROG (Republic Of Gamers) division, which is dedicated to high-end hardware for the most demanding gamers. 2026 marks the year ROG celebrates its 20th anniversary on the market.

For this reason, during the Taipei fair, the company unveiled the new ROG Edition 20 line, a special collection that celebrates a major milestone of the Republic of Gamers brand with a complete range of components, notebooks, monitors, peripherals, and accessories dedicated to high-performance gaming enthusiasts, all featuring a unique and limited edition design.

The new family focuses on an integrated ecosystem that combines artificial intelligence, coordinated design, advanced cooling, and extreme hardware, with products developed for enthusiast configurations, competitive gaming, and next-generation immersive experiences.

Core components: motherboard, GPU and power

Among the most advanced products is the new ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20, a top-of-the-line motherboard characterized by an integrated AIO liquid cooling system that simultaneously cools both the CPU and VRM, thanks to the ROG Ryujin Edition 20 solution, which has an all-copper structure. ASUS uses the new Asetek EMMA Gen10 V3Rx pump along with a micro-channel plate to improve dissipation and stability under heavy loads. The motherboard also integrates a 24+2+2 phase power system, copper heatsinks, and supports up to nine M.2 slots, while the 6.67-inch AMOLED LCD display synchronizes information and animations with other Edition 20 devices through the Advanced ASUS InfoHub software platform.

ASUS also showcased the new ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20, a graphics solution based on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture that introduces a curved AMOLED display capable of displaying real-time hardware data and custom 3D animations. The cooling system uses four fans, a vapor chamber, and liquid metal on the GPU, with an airflow increase of up to 20%. The new RTX 5090 Edition 20 also supports a power draw of up to 800 W thanks to dual power input via the GC-HPWR adapter and a traditional 12VHPWR connector.

For enthusiast-level systems, the new ROG Thor III 3000W Titanium Edition 20 also arrives, a power supply with server-grade GaN MOSFET components and a maximum power output of 3000 W. ASUS claims improved voltage stability of up to 45% during overclocking and load spikes. The model also includes a removable magnetic OLED display for power monitoring.

Cases, desktops and mini PCs

The line also includes the new open-frame case ROG GR20 Edition 20, made of aluminum and designed for advanced configurations with vertical, tilted, or horizontal installation. ASUS integrates a dedicated cross-flow fan for cooling the M.2 SSDs.

On the desktop front, the new ROG G1000 Edition 20 debuts, a pre-assembled system characterized by a celebratory design with a Glory Gold badge and dedicated serial numbering. Inside, it houses an RTX 5090 GPU and an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor, supported by a three-zone cooling system with a 420 mm liquid cooler capable of handling up to 1000 W TDP.

ASUS has also updated the compact range with the new ROG NUC 16 Edition 20, a three-liter mini PC equipped with a GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The QuietFlow system improves CPU thermal dissipation by 21% and allows a combined CPU+GPU cooling capacity of 300 W.

OLED monitors

There’s also ample space for next-generation OLED monitors. The new ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 uses a 26.5-inch Tandem WOLED panel with a dual operating mode: QHD at 540 Hz or HD at 720 Hz. ASUS claims a response time of 0.02 ms, a 15% improvement in brightness, and a 60% longer panel lifespan compared to the previous generation. The monitor also features DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 and HDMI 2.1 inputs and holds the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification with a 99.5% DCI-P3 color space coverage.

The new ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG ACE also debuts, described by the company as the world's first eSports OLED monitor. The 24.5-inch FHD display reaches 540 Hz with a response time of 0.02 ms and is certified DisplayHDR 600 TrueBlack. We attended the new monitor's presentation and you can find more details in our dedicated article.

For enthusiast and creator users, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM arrives, a 32-inch RGB Tandem OLED monitor with a dual-mode 4K at 240 Hz or Full HD at 480 Hz. The model supports Dolby Vision and integrates a USB-C port with 90 W Power Delivery and DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 connectivity.

Networking

ASUS also renews its networking segment with the new ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro Edition 20, a quad-band WiFi 7 gaming router capable of reaching speeds of up to 30 Gbps thanks to 320 MHz channels, 4096-QAM technology, and Multi-Link Operation support. The device includes two 10G ports and four 2.5G ports.

Peripherals and portable gaming

The peripheral line includes, first and foremost, the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 mechanical keyboard with an aluminum frame, carbon fiber, an OLED touchscreen, and 24-karat gold accents. We reviewed ASUS's top-of-the-line keyboard last year, although we found some criticisms regarding the price. Also included in the limited edition range is the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse, equipped with a ROG Aimpoint Pro 65K sensor, wireless SpeedNova 8K, and optical switches rated for 100 million clicks. You can also find the review of the Harpe on Hardware Upgrade pages.

For portable gaming, ASUS introduces the new ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle, a celebratory version with a translucent black chassis and golden details. The console features, for the first time, a 7.4-inch 120 Hz OLED Nebula HDR display with a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits and FreeSync Premium Pro support.

Notebooks and lifestyle accessories

In the notebook range, the new ROG Strix SCAR 18 (2026) features an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, and a maximum sustained power of 320 W. The notebook also integrates the first 18-inch Mini LED 4K panel at 240 Hz aimed at the gaming laptop segment.

Finally, the Edition 20 collection includes lifestyle accessories such as the ROG SLASH Edition 20 hard case, the ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20, the celebratory figurine ROG OMNI Edition 20, and the board game ROG Saga: In Search of Lapuntu Edition 20, developed to expand the brand's narrative universe even beyond traditional hardware.
