Internet Users Do Not Want AI Search: Traffic Tripled for DuckDuckGo

DuckDuckGo is becoming one of the key players on the web. The increasing integration of artificial intelligence into Google's services and, in particular, its search engine, is not pleasing to everyone. An ever-growing number of users are migrating to DuckDuckGo to take advantage of the 'No AI' search option. This is a trend that could become increasingly relevant in the future.

Search Without AI

Google's choice to increasingly integrate artificial intelligence into its search engine is driving the growth of DuckDuckGo. Since Google's announcement, traffic to the 'No AI' search engine has more than tripled, as confirmed in recent hours, and since May 19, the service has exceeded the daily average pre-announcement by at least 84%.

DuckDuckGo's online search without AI does not offer AI-assisted answers, does not have a chat interface, and displays a lower number of AI-generated images. Users can also use extensions for Chrome and Firefox to access the search engine more easily.

With Google's new announcements, it is clear that online search is undergoing a phase of transformation. An increasingly significant share of users is choosing DuckDuckGo, which could become more and more of a reference point for the sector in the near future.

It is worth noting that DuckDuckGo also provides its users with a free web browser focused on privacy protection, a central element also for the search engine, unlike competing services such as those offered by Google.
