LG Launches Two New UltraGear Monitors for Uncompromised Gaming: Here Are the Specs and Prices
The LG range expands with two gaming monitors. The new LG UltraGear evo 52G930B and UltraGear evo AI 39GX950B have debuted in Italy. These are high-end products designed to satisfy the most demanding users.
The New LG Monitors
The first product enlarging LG's range is the LG UltraGear evo 52G930B. It is a gaming monitor with a diagonal of 52 inches and an aspect ratio of 21:9. The panel is curved (1000R) and the field of view is expanded by up to 33% compared to a regular 16:9 panel. Notably, it features a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz, a response time of 1 ms, and supports VESA DisplayHDR 600. Completing the specifications, it boasts 95% DCI-P3 coverage and the ability to utilize FreeSync Premium for a stable frame rate, minimizing tearing and stuttering.
The second new product is the LG UltraGear evo AI 39GX950B. This monitor boasts a fourth-generation Tandem OLED panel, with a diagonal of 39 inches, a resolution of 5120 x 2160 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 21:9. It is a curved monitor (1500R curvature) with peak brightness up to 1500 nits and supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. The panel has a 99.55% DCI-P3 coverage. The monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz, with the possibility to reach 330 Hz in WFHD mode. It is also compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
Additionally, the new monitors feature complete connectivity (including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and USB-C with Power Delivery) and built-in 10 W stereo speakers. There is also the option to use the LG Switch app to manage main functionalities and custom presets.
Both monitors have a launch price of 1,799 euros and can be purchased through LG Shop Online, with the possibility of accessing zero-interest financing and receiving a 300-euro coupon for a future purchase.
