OnePlus 16 is getting closer: the technical specifications look very promising

Rumors about the next generation of flagship smartphones are starting to circulate online. Among the new arrivals expected in the coming months is the OnePlus 16. This model is currently at the center of new leaks that give us a glimpse of some aspects of its technical specifications.

The future flagship from OnePlus seems to have all the right cards, at least according to the first information, to become one of the most interesting models on the market in the coming months.

Specifications of the future OnePlus 16

According to the new information that has emerged online, the OnePlus 16 will feature an OLED display that could reach up to 185 Hz (although other sources state 165 Hz). Among the new features of the device will be a button to activate the AI functionalities integrated into the software. Additionally, OnePlus is expected to update the camera system.

The model is set to have a 50 Megapixel main camera, but the sensor specifications are still unknown, in addition to a 200 Megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Completing the technical specifications of the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC, Qualcomm's next flagship chip, which is set to be announced in the coming months, just days/weeks before the debut of OnePlus's smartphone. Another strong point for the smartphone is expected to be the battery, with the company possibly integrating a unit with a capacity of 9,000 mAh.
