Acer Swift Spin 14 and Aspire Go 15: Windows and Snapdragon Processors for Every Budget
Acer has announced two new notebooks based on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms that expand its offering in the AI PC segment and Windows laptops aimed at everyday productivity. The new models are Swift Spin 14 AI, a premium convertible based on the Snapdragon X2 Elite or Snapdragon X2 Plus platform, and Aspire Go 15, Acer's first notebook equipped with the new Snapdragon C processor.
The new Acer Swift Spin 14 AI (SFSP14-Q51T) focuses on high performance, local AI acceleration, and maximum portability. The notebook integrates an NPU with 80 TOPS dedicated to multimodal and agentic AI processing, a feature that enables the use of Copilot+ PC functionalities of Windows 11 directly on the device.
On the hardware front, Acer offers configurations with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB SSD, while the integrated Adreno GPU supports DirectX 12.2 and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The notebook also supports up to three external 4K monitors, making it suitable for advanced workstation setups.
One of the most interesting aspects concerns the declared battery life. Acer mentions up to 23 hours of video playback and up to 16.5 hours of web browsing. Fast charging via USB 4 Type-C up to 100 W is also available.
For the Swift Spin 14 AI, Acer has integrated a convertible design with a 360-degree hinge, allowing use in notebook, presentation, or tablet mode. The 14-inch IPS touch display with WUXGA resolution supports input via touch and the included Acer Active Stylus 420, which is compatible with Wacom AES 2.0 technology and has 4,096 pressure levels along with tilt detection. Additionally, just 30 seconds of stylus charging provides about 100 minutes of use. The stylus can be stored directly within the chassis of the notebook.
The new convertible maintains compact dimensions with a thickness between 15.9 and 16.5 mm and a weight starting from 1.34 kg. Its cobalt blue aluminum chassis also possesses MIL-STD-810H certification.
The features include dual USB Type-C ports, dual USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1. Connectivity arrives with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and Bluetooth LE Audio. The 5 MP IR webcam supports Windows Hello, while Acer has integrated AI functionalities dedicated to video conferencing such as Acer PurifiedView and Acer PurifiedVoice with AI-based noise cancellation. Sound is delivered through dual speakers accompanied by DTS Ultra Audio technology, while support for Snapdragon Sound optimizes sound for wireless headphones and earphones.
Alongside the premium model, Acer has also introduced the new Aspire Go 15 (AG15-Q31P), aimed at the mainstream segment. This is the company's first model based on the new Snapdragon C platform, designed to offer an optimal trade-off between cost and performance for everyday tasks.
Aspire Go 15 offers configurations with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, while the 15.6-inch display uses thin bezels to increase the available viewing area. Connectivity includes dual full-function USB Type-C, HDMI, and support for Wi-Fi 6E.
Acer also emphasizes its commitment to sustainability: Aspire Go 15 uses 100% recyclable materials and components made from post-consumer recycled plastic. The notebook also holds Energy Star and EPEAT certifications.
Acer has confirmed that Swift Spin 14 AI will be available starting in October, while the release date for Aspire Go 15 will be communicated later.
