TV up to 288 Hz, smart air conditioners and vacuum robots: Xiaomi's new smart home strategy
Xiaomi
Xiaomi has announced the expansion of its Smart Tech appliance line for the global market, introducing a new family of products that includes Mini LED TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, washer-dryers, and vacuum robots. This initiative is part of the "Human x Car x Home" strategy, with which the company aims to build an increasingly integrated ecosystem between home devices, mobile products, and connected platforms.
The new range focuses on three main directions: software integration, greater energy efficiency, and automation of home functions through artificial intelligence. All products can be managed through the Xiaomi Home app, which allows for remote control, real-time notifications, customization of settings, and OTA updates. Support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants is also provided on compatible devices.
Mini LED TVs up to 288 Hz for gaming and entertainment
Among the flagship products is the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2026 series, available in sizes of 55, 65, 75, 85, and 98 inches. The new line uses QD-Mini LED technology, with claimed brightness of up to 1200 nits, DCI-P3 color coverage of 94%, and support for HDR10+, HLG, and Filmmaker Mode.
The 55, 65, and 75-inch models reach refresh rates of up to 120 Hz in Game Boost mode, while the 85 and 98-inch variants can achieve 144 Hz, expandable up to 288 Hz through a dedicated mode. On the audio front, there are 15W stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio and DTS:X, while higher-end models also integrate Dolby Atmos.
The software platform is based on Google TV, with compatibility for Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and voice control via Google Assistant.
GentleAir air conditioners: AI and gentler airflow
The new Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir line focuses on comfort and energy optimization. Xiaomi claims a micro-hole based air distribution system and three dedicated modes to modulate airflow according to the environment: Halo Flow, Canopy Flow, and Carpet Flow.
The air conditioner will be available in versions ranging from 2.6 kW to 7 kW and promises cooling in 30 seconds and heating in 60 seconds. There is also an AI Energy Saving mode that dynamically adjusts the compressor operation based on environmental conditions and user habits, with claimed improvements in energy efficiency of up to 24.5%.
Again, integration with Xiaomi Home allows for remote management, automation, and voice control.
621-liter side-by-side refrigerator with dual inverter
The new Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 621L is designed for the premium segment of smart kitchens. It offers a total capacity of 621 liters, divided between 385 liters for refrigeration and 236 liters for the freezer.
Key features include a dual inverter system for more efficient cooling management and Ag+ Fresh technology, designed to reduce odors and bacterial growth. Xiaomi also highlights the presence of 18 internal compartments to improve food organization.
The refrigerator integrates smart notifications, such as for the door left open, along with remote management via app and voice assistants.
8 kg washer-dryer: focus on energy efficiency
The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 8kg combines washing and drying in a single device and particularly focuses on energy efficiency. Xiaomi claims consumption is 30% lower than the threshold set for the European Class A.
The system integrates over 30 washing programs, including a 15-minute quick mode, and uses high-temperature steam for sanitizing clothes. The intelligent drying control uses dedicated sensors to automatically stop the cycle once the optimal drying level is reached, reducing the risk of overheating the fabrics.
This product also benefits from OTA updates and customization via the Xiaomi Home app.
H50 Pro vacuum robot with suction power of 15,000 Pa
Completing the new lineup is the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro, which focuses on automation and suction power. The company claims a capacity of 15,000 Pa, supported by a dual brush anti-tangle system and extendable arms for cleaning edges and corners.
Navigation is based on LDS laser technology and an intelligent obstacle detection system at millimeter level. The robot can also recognize carpets, automatically increasing suction power and lifting mops for washing.
The all-in-one station integrates automatic dust emptying, base cleaning, and hot air drying, aiming to minimize user manual interventions.
Prices and availability
Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series 2026 is available starting at €549. Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro is offered at €499.99 on the official Xiaomi store, while the base variant is available for €399.99. For the air conditioner, refrigerator, and washer-dryer, the company has confirmed their arrival in the global market in the coming months, without currently indicating official prices for Europe.
