The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro Aims to Impress: A New Leak Confirms Common Features with S27 Ultra

Samsung is working on the new Galaxy S27 Pro, the fourth variant of the S27 range that, on paper, could be the most interesting one due to its more compact dimensions compared to the Ultra (but without reaching the extremes of the S27) and very similar specifications to the flagship of the Korean company. Here are the latest updates on the smartphone.

A Complete Smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro has been at the center of rumors for several weeks, and just a few days ago we shared the possible technical specifications. The latest leaks concern the camera setup. The Pro model is expected to feature three rear cameras, just like the Ultra (which, compared to the previous generation, will drop one sensor).

Pro and Ultra will have the same sensors for the main camera and the ultra-wide camera, 200 MP and 50 MP respectively. The periscopic telephoto lens will differ: the Pro model will support optical zoom up to 3.5x, while the Ultra will have zoom capabilities up to 5x.

Both smartphones will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC. Other differences will include the display, with the Pro having a 6.47-inch OLED panel and the Ultra continuing to have a 6.9-inch panel, along with the battery, which will be smaller for the Pro (but no information is available at the moment). It is also worth noting that the Pro will not come with the S-Pen.

More details about the new S27 Pro will undoubtedly emerge in the coming weeks. The launch is expected in the early months of next year, following the usual timeline for Samsung's flagship devices.
