ASUS Reduces Size but Increases Performance: ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 is a Marvel

ASUS has announced the new ProArt GeForce RTX 5090, a solution aimed at professional creators, AI developers, and compact workstations. The graphics card utilizes the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and integrates 32 GB of GDDR7 memory, the maximum currently available in the consumer segment.

One of the most relevant aspects concerns performance dedicated to artificial intelligence. ASUS reports a power of 3352 TOPS AI, a value designed to handle large language models (LLMs), complex rendering, and advanced workflows dedicated to content production. The card also supports the entire NVIDIA RTX suite with technologies such as DLSS 4.5, Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and Reflex 2 with Frame Warp.

The new ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 also introduces an important innovation on the design front. ASUS defines the product as the first proprietary RTX 5090 made in a 2.5 slot format, a feature that allows for integration even in low-profile systems or in workstations that require more free PCIe slots.

To maintain adequate operating temperatures, ASUS has developed a dual-flow dissipation system that combines liquid metal, a vapor chamber, and a ventilated backplate. The company highlights an 11% improvement in cooling efficiency compared to traditional single-flow solutions, along with an overall size reduction of 27%. Completing the thermal solution are three 115 mm Axial-tech fans.

Among the features dedicated to creators is a USB Type-C port, useful for connecting portable displays or multi-monitor setups with fewer cables. The goal is to simplify workstation management while maintaining a neater layout.

Aesthetically, the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 adopts the traditional minimalist design with brown wood effect finishes and lines designed to integrate with chassis from the ProArt range such as PA401 Wood Edition and PA602 Wood Edition.

Board management is handled through the GPU Tweak III software, which allows for performance monitoring, automatic overclocking, OSD customization, and adjustment of power limits and fan curves. The OC mode also allows for increasing GPU operating frequencies without manual configurations.

ASUS announced that the ProArt GeForce RTX 5090 will hit the Italian market in early June, with a suggested price of €4,199. Initially, availability will be limited to stores that collaborate directly with ASUS, while in the following weeks the product will also reach the ASUS Gold Store and other retailers.

During the presentation, ASUS also announced a cashback campaign dedicated to ProArt products valid from May 20 to June 30, 2026. The initiative offers refunds of up to €670 for the purchase of eligible products from participating partners, including Amazon Italy for items sold and shipped directly from the Italian platform.
