Xiaomi 17 Max is Coming: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a Massive Battery to Conquer the High-End Market

Protagonist of several rumors in recent months, the Xiaomi 17 Max seemed to be off the radar. However, the smartphone is now ready for its debut and has been confirmed by Xiaomi itself, which has anticipated the arrival of the fifth component of the Xiaomi 17 series. This series already includes the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra (available in Italy as well) along with the Pro and Pro Max models. Additionally, the 17T and 17T Pro are also expected to arrive in Europe. First Information About the Smartphone

The new Xiaomi 17 Max is already available for pre-order in China, although complete details will be revealed only later. The commercial launch is expected at the end of May. Among the technical specifications, there will be room for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a chip that will allow the device to position itself in the high-end market.

The presence of a 6.9-inch AMOLED display has also been confirmed. There will be no rear display as seen on the Pro and Pro Max models. The design of the smartphone will resemble that of the Xiaomi 17 but with larger dimensions.

The new model will hit the market in three colors (White, Transparent Blue, and Pixel Black) and will also feature an 8,000 mAh battery, supporting 100 W wired charging.

Notably, there will also be a triple rear camera, with a main sensor of 1/1.4 inches and 200 Megapixels. There will also be a 200 Megapixel periscopic telephoto lens.
