Xiaomi Confirms Arrival of the Redmi Watch 6 on the Global Market: Coming Soon to Italy?

Xiaomi's range of smartwatches expands with a new arrival: the Chinese company has announced the global debut of the Redmi Watch 6, a model that was launched last October in China. Here are all the details regarding Xiaomi's new product.

Specifications of the Smartwatch

The Redmi Watch 6 features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 432 x 514 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. The panel boasts a maximum brightness of 2000 nits. Without the strap, the smartwatch weighs 31 grams and has a thickness of 9.94 mm.

Three color options will be available on the market: Obsidian Black, Silver Grey, and Clacier Blue. The device can be paired with Android smartphones and iPhones, allowing users to manage messages, notifications, and calls, and includes support for location detection via GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou, and QZSS.

Also notable is a 550 mAh battery (the claimed battery life is "up to 24 days"; real-life usage will need to be verified) and water resistance of up to 5 ATM. The Redmi Watch 6 includes various health monitoring features, making it a worthy fitness tracker. There is also a version equipped with an NFC chip.

Currently, there is no information yet regarding the arrival of the new Redmi Watch 6 in Italy. The smartwatch may debut soon, especially considering the upcoming launch of the new Xiaomi 17T on the market. For now, the model is available on the global version of Xiaomi's official website.
