The heart of the system is the UltraEyes 1.0 technology: two front HD cameras acting as the robot's "eyes." No buried perimeter wires or bulky RTK antennas on the roof. Everything is managed via artificial vision, with the AI recognizing up to 300 obstacles or animals. The hardware also plays a crucial role, especially the mechanical part. Unboxing and Installation: A Matter of Minutes

The unboxing reveals an essential yet well-designed package: the robot, the charging base (made of two easy-to-assemble pieces), safety stakes, a waterproof power supply, and spare blades.

The initial setup is divided into three phases:

Pairing: Via QR Code and Mova App (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection).
Manual Mapping: You guide the robot like a remote-controlled car along the edges of the lawn using a virtual joystick on your smartphone.
Learning: Once the boundary is drawn, the robot executes an autonomous exploration of about 10-20 minutes to memorize every detail and obstacle.

In case of more complex or separate lawns, it is possible to save two different maps, which can also be divided into multiple zones, allowing the selection of dedicated cutting settings for each part of the garden.

Field Test: How Does It Cut?

The Mova ViAX 250 does not proceed randomly. It uses extremely precise parallel line paths. During our tests, we appreciated its ability to vary the cutting angle (for example, to 45°) to achieve a professional soccer field aesthetic effect.
If your lawn borders a driveway or a level paving, set the option for "maximum overlap." The robot will place a wheel on the tile, allowing the cutting disc to eliminate even the last blade of grass at the edge.

Although the robot is highly precise, walls remain a physical obstacle. However, Mova has included a neat feature: the manual cutting mode. You can guide the robot via the app with the blades active to touch up those corners where automation prefers not to take risks. A great solution to avoid pulling out the trimmer every time.

Software and Smart Features

The Mova app offers granular battery management. You can set charging thresholds (e.g., 20%-80%) to preserve cell longevity over time, just as you would with an electric car.

Other noteworthy features include:

Safe Speed: Reduces speed during specific hours to allow the cameras to detect and avoid small wild animals (like hedgehogs) more easily.
Rain Prediction: With adjustable delay to avoid ruining the lawn when it's wet.
Surveillance: You can access the live stream from the front cameras and guide the robot to check on your house or garden while you’re on vacation.

Of course, there’s also the option to create a schedule for the robot to work at predetermined times, without needing any manual action. It is also intended to diversify actions between the good and bad seasons for lawns that remain active even when it gets colder.

If you have a small-sized garden and are looking for a technological yet practical product, this ViAX 250 is a candidate you should keep an eye on, especially during seasonal promotions. The judgment, after several days of use, is definitely positive. Despite its simplicity (in management and onboard hardware), the ViAX cut the lawn excellently, with a finished and uniform carpet already after the second cutting cycle.
