Has Ubisoft Run Out of Ideas? New Remakes of the Assassin's Creed Series May Be in Development

It's not just Black Flag Resynced in the future of the Assassin's Creed series. According to new rumors, Ubisoft, which is going through a complicated time, intends to make the most of the franchise and is reportedly planning at least one more remake that could arrive in the coming years. The Assassin's Creed series could play a crucial role in the future of the software house.

Another Remake on the Way

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, after being postponed, is now very close to debuting. According to a new report, Ubisoft has already planned at least one more remake of the series, and we cannot rule out the arrival of additional projects of this kind, especially if Black Flag Resynced achieves commercial success, which will significantly influence the future of the series.

Currently, there are no detailed information regarding which chapter of the series could be made as a remake. The most likely candidate is the first Assassin's Creed, which could then be followed by subsequent titles, particularly Assassin's Creed 2, probably the most appreciated game in the entire franchise.

There is plenty of material available to create new remakes. Let's remember that the first game was launched almost 19 years ago, and Ubisoft, which desperately needs to record some commercial success given its well-known financial difficulties, would have every interest in reintroducing all the early chapters of the saga.
