OPPO Find X9 Ultra Official: The Ultimate Camera Phone Debuts

OPPO has launched the Find X9 Ultra, a new flagship aiming to rewrite the rules of mobile imaging through extreme hardware integration. The device immediately stands out for its next-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System, which manages five rear cameras coordinated to cover an extremely wide focal range, from 14 mm to 460 mm. The declared goal is to provide a professional tool that reduces the gap between smartphones and dedicated cameras, focusing on a less aggressive and more faithful processing pipeline to natural detail.

A five-camera Hasselblad system

The highlight of the technical specification is the Hasselblad Ultra-Sensing 50MP telephoto lens with a native 10x optical zoom. To incorporate such a long focal length into a reduced thickness, OPPO engineered a prism structure with five reflections that bends the light path, managing to shorten the module by 30% compared to traditional solutions. This architecture pairs with the Pristine Optical Path system, designed to almost completely eliminate stray light (99.999%), and the Sensor Shift optical stabilization, crucial for maintaining sharpness when operating at high focal lengths or using the quality optical 20x digital zoom.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra: Mobile imaging has never been so extreme. Alongside the super telephoto lens, we find a dual 200MP camera system. Professionals can rely on the O-Log2 profile, certified ACES, which maximizes dynamic range in shadows while reducing image degradation in post-production. It is also possible to upload third-party 3D LUTs for real-time monitoring, with the LUT Burn-in option to embed the color profile directly into the final file.

Display, performance and battery

Performance is ensured by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, supported by a vapor chamber cooling system and an encapsulated thermal unit to handle the stress of intensive workloads such as 8K video editing. The display is a 6.82-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with dynamic refresh rates up to 144Hz and peak HDR brightness reaching 3,600 nits. For color management, the dedicated Display P3 Pro chip is included.

Battery life represents another breakthrough thanks to the 7,050 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, one of the largest in the flagship market, managed by the PowerCore chip to optimize energy efficiency. 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging ensure quick top-ups. Of particular technical interest is the OPPO Hasselblad 300mm Explorer teleconverter, an external lens with 16 glass elements that magnetically attaches to the 3x telephoto lens to achieve an equivalent focal length of 300 mm with 13x optical zoom, pushing detail quality to magnifications of 30x and beyond.
