OnePlus Tries Again with the Budget Range: The New Nord CE 6 Lite is Coming Soon

OnePlus is about to update its smartphone lineup with a new "low-cost" smartphone. After the launch of the Nord 6, the company plans to debut the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. This model is currently the subject of new rumors.

Specifications of OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite

As confirmed by a recent benchmark, the new OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, a 4 nm chip with 5G support that can offer good performance for everyday use. The SoC will be supported by 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage.

According to some rumors, OnePlus (to keep costs down) is expected to opt for an LCD display instead of an AMOLED panel. The display will have a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD+ resolution, and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. A dual rear camera setup is also anticipated, featuring a main sensor of 50 Megapixels.

Compared to the previous generation, the new OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to see a substantial upgrade regarding the battery. Thanks to the switch to silicon-carbon batteries, the new OnePlus smartphone will boast a unit of 7,000 mAh (compared to 5,110 mAh of the previous generation). There will also be support for 80 W fast charging.

The debut of the new OnePlus smartphone is expected in the coming weeks. At the moment, there are no confirmations regarding a possible launch in the European market.
