The new Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is near, but the innovations will be few
Motorola has no intention of abandoning the foldable market and is working on the new Razr: the debut of the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is expected in the coming months. The smartphone is not expected to present substantial innovations compared to the previous generation, as anticipated by a new leak. Here are all the details.
What will the new Motorola Razr 70 Ultra be like
The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra could feature a 7-inch LTPO AMOLED folding display and a 4-inch external display, confirming the same configuration already seen in the previous generation.
Still in terms of confirmations, the SoC is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite, already used by the Razr 60 Ultra, which will be paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The battery will be slightly larger, reaching 5,000 mAh, compared to the 4,700 mAh of the previous generation, with support for 68 W fast charging and wireless charging.
There will be no innovations regarding the camera system, featuring three 50 Megapixel cameras (main, ultra-wide, and front). The operating system will be Android 16, with extended support for several years and many features for AI usage, as already seen on other Motorola models.
Currently, there is no official presentation date yet. However, the launch should take place in the coming weeks, likely by the end of April 2026. The smartphone will also arrive in Italy in the weeks following the official presentation. We will know more soon.
