Lenovo 360: the company's channel program is renewed
Lenovo has updated its channel program, focusing on a simpler approach and a greater number of services for partners. Also arriving is Lenovo 360 Tech Connect, a new technical community available globally.
Lenovo 360: What Changes?
Lenovo has simplified its partner program to make it easier to understand and use. The company has reduced the complexity of levels and defined a clearer growth path: starting from Authorized and moving up to Gold and Platinum based on business results, as well as acquired skills and obtained accreditations.
All partners start at the Authorized level, gaining access to the Lenovo 360 Elevate platform, designed to support their growth. As they advance in levels, the benefits also increase, such as higher economic incentives, greater opportunities for business collaboration with Lenovo, and broader access to resources and tools. Supporting this journey is the Lenovo 360 Partner Hub, which allows real-time tracking of performance, certifications, and progress, making advancement in the program more predictable.
With Lenovo 360 for Services, the company helps partners migrate to a service-based business model. Lenovo aims to strengthen the service component of its channel with Lenovo 360 for Services, a path designed to assist partners in transitioning from a solely resale model to one based on recurring service-related revenues.
The push comes from a market shifting towards servitization. Therefore, Lenovo offers partners a framework that enables them to integrate services into every negotiation and gradually build a higher-value offering. This includes areas like digital workplace, hybrid cloud, AI, and Lenovo TruScale's as-a-service solutions, aiming to broaden the portfolio, increase the value of opportunities, and generate more stable revenues over time. Support also includes training, commercial tools, marketing materials, and guided selling platforms, all consolidated into a single path.
Lenovo 360 Tech Connect: The New Technical Community
In April, Lenovo launched Lenovo 360 Tech Connect, a global technical community designed to help partners develop advanced skills and offer increasingly complex and results-oriented solutions. With the growing demand for AI-based solutions, hybrid cloud, and advanced infrastructures, partners need more specialized technical skills.
Lenovo 360 Tech Connect addresses this need by bringing together presales engineers, solution architects, and technical specialists in a collaborative and community-driven environment. Within this community, members will have access to dedicated technical enablement paths, curated training resources, and direct interaction with Lenovo experts, allowing them to design, position, and implement solutions with greater confidence and speed. The community also introduces new recognition and professional development opportunities, enhancing the technical contribution and strengthening partners' credibility with clients.
"With the evolution of Lenovo 360, we want to make the partner journey even clearer and more tangible," said Cristiano Accolla, Channel Leader of Lenovo Italy. "In the Italian market, we see a growing demand for complete solutions and services throughout the IT lifecycle: that’s why we believe that a simpler, service-oriented model aimed at skill development is key to growth today. Partners are taking on an increasingly strategic role as business consultants for customers, and Lenovo 360 is designed to support them in this transformation, helping them generate value, margin, and long-term relationships."
