Tineco FLOOR ONE S9 Scientist: the new floor cleaner challenges low furniture

Tineco has officially announced the debut of the FLOOR ONE S9 Scientist in Italy, positioning it as the most prestigious option within its new line of home care devices. This model focuses on the ability to operate in complex home environments, where the size of furniture often limits the effectiveness of traditional cleaning systems.

FLOOR ONE S9 Scientist: top maneuverability and performance for the new flagship

To address this, the machine's body has been reduced to a thickness of only 11 cm, a measurement that allows the floor cleaner to easily slide under sofas, beds, and low furniture, eliminating dust accumulations in areas that are typically less accessible. To overcome the visibility problems typical of these cramped spaces, the manufacturer has integrated a LED Headlight system, which illuminates the cleaning path, making debris and stains visible even in low ambient light conditions.

Movement management is handled by SmoothDrive technology, a system that implements directional detection to assist the user during maneuvers. This technical solution drastically reduces friction and the physical effort required to move the device, making the user experience smooth even during extended cleaning sessions. The structural design also allows for up to 90° rotation, facilitating sudden directional changes and allowing for superior agility in navigating obstacles such as table legs or tight corners compared to previous models in the range.

A critical element for pet owners is the management of fur and hair, which often causes mechanical blockages in rollers. Tineco addresses this issue with the DualBlock Anti-Tangle system, a solution designed to prevent the tangling of fibers around rotating components. The architecture chosen by the company not only reduces the need for manual maintenance by the user but also ensures that the suction power remains constant throughout the work cycle, avoiding performance drops due to mechanical obstructions.

High-tech concentration for dirt management

From an operational effectiveness standpoint, the FLOOR ONE S9 Scientist is designed to perform solid debris suction and surface washing in a single pass, a hybrid approach that allows for the same efficiency in handling both dry dirt and spilled liquids, optimizing domestic routine times. For the toughest stains or ingrained dirt, the device activates HydroBurst technology, which delivers a high-pressure water jet at a specific angle of 15°, designed to penetrate the floor's pores and lift dirt with targeted precision to avoid unnecessary liquid spillage.

The control of residual water is another technological pillar of this model: through the StreakFree Scraper, the floor cleaner applies mechanical pressure that removes excess water from the floor while the roller continues its action. The result is a surface that dries almost instantly, minimizing the risk of leaving streaks or water marks that could compromise the aesthetic finish, especially on particularly reflective hard floors.

Tineco's new floor cleaner also implements the so-called Backtrack Water Erasure, an automation that intervenes precisely when the device is turned off: the machine performs a brief controlled backward movement to suck up the last drops of water that might settle due to gravity upon shutting down the motor. This detail ensures that there are no localized accumulations of moisture where the cleaning session ends, ensuring a perfectly uniform finish over the entire treated area.
