The future iPhone Fold has a name: Apple would have decided what to call its foldable device
Among the upcoming news for the Apple range is the iPhone Fold, the company's first smartphone with a foldable display, which is expected to debut by the end of this year. A new leak hints at what should be the commercial name of the product. This is the first time that rumors are trying to name the future Fold, a project that Apple believes in greatly and has been developing for several years.
A new Ultra? The iPhone Fold could be called iPhone Ultra, at least according to a new leak. Therefore, Apple might opt for the use of the term Ultra, already used in the past, for what will be its new top-of-the-line product.
The smartphone is expected to feature a foldable display of about 8 inches and an external display of 5.5 inches, along with a hinge that makes the display fold invisible, with results even superior to the new foldable from OPPO, which has amazed the market with its almost invisible fold.
The choice of the name Ultra would also be linked to the price of Apple's new foldable. The smartphone is expected to cost $2,000-$2,500, positioning itself well above the current top of the range from Cupertino, the Pro Max.
More details about the project will arrive in the coming weeks. The iPhone Fold / Ultra is expected to debut in the second half of the year. According to some rumors, the launch is scheduled for September, while other sources claim the presentation will arrive towards the end of the year, a few months after the debut of the new iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max.
