Motorola Focuses on Tablets: Introducing the Moto Pad 2026
Motorola is aiming to carve out a space in the Android tablet segment, leveraging Lenovo's experience in the field. For this reason, the brand has launched the new Moto Pad 2026 in the United States. This is an economical tablet that has the potential to make an impact in the local market, with a possible debut in Europe to create a complete product ecosystem.
Technical Specifications of the Tablet
The technical sheet of the Moto Pad 2026 includes an 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2.5K and a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood, it features the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC supported by a 7,040 mAh battery.
Currently, the RAM and storage specifications are unclear. Noteworthy features include an 8 Megapixel main camera, a 5 Megapixel front camera, and support for 5G connectivity. The price is set at $249.99 with the only unknown being the available memory configuration.
This is a basic tablet with good potential, especially due to the presence of data connectivity and a very reasonable price (by American market standards).
The specifications of the new Moto Pad 2026 closely resemble those of the Lenovo Idea Pad, available in Europe with 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage, also offering the option for 5G connectivity. For now, the tablet is not expected to hit the European market, but we cannot exclude a future strategic shift that could lead to an enhancement of Motorola's offerings with new products. Further details in this regard may emerge in the coming weeks.
