Google Meet Comes to CarPlay: Meetings Now Also Happen in the Car

Using Google Meet with CarPlay provides access to only the audio features, without the ability to use video, even with a camera present, for safety reasons. The system is designed to allow the user to participate in meetings even while driving when attention must be focused on the road.

The application allows users to join meetings and also view scheduled appointments, enabling better management of activities without needing to consult information on the smartphone.

Google has stated that it developed the CarPlay version to maximize ease of use, ensuring easy access to various app functionalities through the car's display, with minimal taps required for each action.
