OnePlus Teases the New Nord 6: The Mid-Range No Longer Holds Secrets
In just under a week, the debut of the OnePlus Nord 6 is expected, the new smartphone with which the brand will command the mid-range segment. The model will be unveiled on April 7 in India, but it will also arrive in Europe, probably within a few weeks. While we wait for the debut, OnePlus has confirmed some specifications of the smartphone. It is worth noting that according to some rumors, the Nord 6 series will include three smartphones.
Specifications of OnePlus Nord 6
Recent speculations have confirmed that the Nord 6 would be a rebrand of the Turbo 6, launched in China last January. The official information released by OnePlus confirms these rumors.
The smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC and a 165 Hz AMOLED display. It also confirms the presence of 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Notably, it will have a 9,000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging support and will be IP68/IP69K certified.
On a post on X, OnePlus India also officially announced the features of the camera system, consisting of a dual rear camera, with a main 50 Megapixel sensor, with OIS and support for 4K video recording at 60 fps, and an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The front camera will be 32 Megapixels.
For now, we can only wait for the debut scheduled for April 7. The smartphone will come in three color variants, as well as a limited edition, Naruto Edition, for the Indian market. More details regarding Europe will arrive soon.
