Pragmata Enters Gold Phase: The Capcom Title Will Be Released on April 17

After years of development and numerous updates on its status, Pragmata has finally entered the gold phase, marking the completion of the main work and confirming the imminent launch. The title, developed by Capcom, will be available starting April 17 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Initially announced in 2020, Pragmata has gone through a long development period, during which the team focused on perfecting the gameplay. The developers thanked fans for their support over the years, also sharing a celebratory image featuring the protagonists Hugh and Diana, accompanied by unsettling hostile robots.

The adventure takes place inside a lunar research station struck by a mysterious earthquake. In this scenario, the machines present have begun to behave aggressively and lethally. The player mainly controls Hugh, a character armed with guns, rifles, and defensive tools. However, he is unable to directly harm enemies.

Pragmata Goes Gold: Additional Details on Gameplay and the Game

The true distinctive element of the gameplay is represented by Diana, a human-like android accompanying Hugh. Thanks to her hacking skills, she can breach enemy robot systems, exposing their weak points. This creates a unique dynamic: while the player dodges attacks and shoots with Hugh, they must simultaneously solve puzzles in the form of pathways and logical patterns to activate Diana's abilities.

The hacking system includes several modules that offer specific advantages, such as increased damage or strategic effects against enemies. Additionally, it will be possible to visit a base called Shelter to upgrade equipment and abilities, adding a progression component to the gameplay.

Another interesting element is the success of the standalone free demo, which has already surpassed two million downloads. This figure suggests strong public interest and fuels expectations for the official launch.

Originally scheduled for April 24, the game has been moved up by a week, likely due to positive progress in development.
