Hypershell X Series, a Powered Exoskeleton with Integrated AI: Here’s How Much It Costs
Hypershell, a leading brand in the consumer exoskeleton sector, has announced the launch of the new X Series in Europe, the world's first TÜV Rheinland-certified end-to-end exoskeleton with integrated artificial intelligence. The range includes three models (X Ultra S, X Max S, and X Pro S) that offer varying levels of support and terrain adaptability.
At the core of the exoskeleton's operation is HyperIntuition, a proprietary AI-based movement control algorithm. To test the project, HyperLIFT has been initiated, a field testing program aimed at supporting search and rescue teams in real operations. By 2026, collaborations with over 50 SAR organizations are expected.
The Xypershell X Ultra S, the flagship model of the series, is currently being used in an expedition on Mount Everest to demonstrate its ability to support particularly demanding physical activities. Kelvin Sun, founder of Hypershell, emphasized: “With the new Hypershell X Series and HyperIntuition, we are going beyond traditional rule-based modeling, entering a new era of end-to-end movement control technology. From the beginning, we focused on a deep integration between artificial intelligence and hardware. Our goal is to create exoskeletons that respond naturally to human movements and interact harmoniously with the body. HyperLIFT brings this vision to reality, enabling rescue teams operating in extreme contexts to achieve better results with less physical and mental effort.”
As confirmed by TÜV Rheinland data, Hypershell X achieves 97.5% synchronization with gait on varying terrains and has a response time of 0.31 seconds, reaching a speed that is 64.5% higher than the previous generation. Notably, it also integrates with Hypershell Shelly, the first AI agent in the consumer exoskeleton sector, available in beta. Users have the option to interact with Shelly to control the exoskeleton via voice commands.

Hypershell X is available from this week in Italy and other European countries. The price list is as follows:
- X Pro S: 999 euros
- X Max S: 1,499 euros
- X Ultra S: 1,999 euros
